KAWASAKI Ninja ZX-10R wins 24 Hours of Le Mans (2010)

After a sensational consecutive chain of events - best free practice, best timed session, best night practice and pole position - the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R of the GSR team has won the 33rd edition of the prestigious 24 Hours of Le Mans race, with a stunning 11 lap gap to the number 2.
With talented riders Julien da Costa, Olivier Four, Gregory Le Blanc and Thomas Metro as a 4th driver, all part of the Gilles Stafler team which has performed outstandingly during the 828 round race , the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R with number 11 led the dance in these 24 hours to earn a victory that everyone was waiting for since 1999. The first round in the Qtel FIM Endurance World Championship therefore was a big success for the Ninja ZX-10R and the team.
The race win shows the dominance of the crew, but also the reliability and performance of the Ninja ZX-10R, which has been able to cope with the extreme conditions of use under which it was put throughout the weekend.
The victory achieved this weekend puts the team firmly on the first position in the classification of the World Endurance Championship.
Also other Kawasaki teams have performed well during the 24 hour race: the Swiss Team Bolliger with pilots Saiger, Stamm and Chabosseau ended on the sixth position, with a gap of 26 laps to the winner.
And Team Infini Power Bike Troyes with the pilots Dupuis, Holub and Hiernaux ended on the 7th position, with a gap of 35 rounds to the winner.
